This is not a P-51 Mustang, Oppo. What is it?
I photographed this at the USAF Museum in Dayton last summer.

It’s the attack version of the P-51. I can’t remember the designation though, A-12, A-32, something like that.
ETA: Consulted Wikipedia. It’s the A-36 Apache.

Agreed. The dive brakes are a dead giveaway.
Sadly there’s only three A-36 left, two airworthy examples and the one at the USAFM.

Yes they are. The armament is also different (twin .50s in each wing, two more .50s in the chin firing through the propeller), and it has the additional air intake over the nose.

It’s an A-36 Apache, the ground attack variant of the Mustang. Note the extended dive brakes on the wings.
